No, it's nowhere near the weight they advertise. Mine is 12lbs 14oz. E-Flite Power 90 w/Predator 120a ESC 1580 watts on 6S 5500mah. If you mount the rudder and elevator servos where shown, you'll never get the flight battery in/out without cutting up the cross members on the airframe. I ended up making trays that fit outside the existing tray. That's the only way to keep that center isle clear so you can get batteries in and out. I mounted 2 elevator servos. One left and one right, but crossed the pushrods so they exit smoother. You should never run a pushrod out the same side as the servo is mounted. It's a recipe for servo binding. I completely moved the rudder pushrod to exit at the top of the fuselage and put the control horn up high on the rudder to line up. The entire tailwheel and rudder design is silly. They basically use the tailwheel assembly to drive the rudder with a torque rod. My landing gear holes didn't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the fuselage, no matter which way I tried to align them. I ended up removing 1 blind nut per side and plugging the holes with wooden dowel rod. Then bolt up the gear using only 2 bolts so I could drill the 3rd in the correct spot. Getting those blind nuts reinstalled up in the front of the plane was no easy task. It flies okay. I just expected a little better engineering and thought behind it. I can't figure out why they would completely block the access to change lipo batteries with the rudder and elevator servos. I thought the landing gear bolts and nuts misalignment was just shoddy. The rudder pushrod and tailwheel assembly could have been done a lot better. This is all basic aircraft design 101 and I feel like VQ really missed the mark. It's like they didn't even think about half of it. 2 stars but only because it flies okay.

The rudder servo should be on aircraft right and elevator servo on the left as the pushrods had been installed incorrectly at the factory in accordance with the manual ..., also being incorrect. Finished flying weight is 12lbs and my motor prop combo puts out 15lbs of thrust. Flies very stable and performs all basic aerobatics with ease. Really relaxing, fun to fly, and a hit at the field.

Noted the following... Remove the outer elevator and rudder guides and reroute them so they fit properly, ignore the manual, rudder servo belongs on the right and the elevator servo belongs on the left. Take your time with the rudder installation to ensure no binding at the tailwheel mount. Shim and trim as necessary! Rudder can also overtravel and interfere with elevator control! Ignore the manual and set for 50mm travel max! Provide ESC airflow exhaust, I cut ports in the rear fuselage underside. My set up ... Model flying weight is 12lbs. Batteries all the way aft on the tray provide the perfect CG for this set up. Turnigy G110 Motor 295Kv w/80A Dlux opto ESC turning a Master 16x10 3blade prop delivering 15lbs thrust wot @ 60 amp using 2-4s 5000mAh batteries in series. Spektrum AR631 receiver installed with minimal gyro assist. It flies on rails and will perform any basic aerobatics with ease and grace. So far no issues with the gear legs, their springy but havent bent, 3 3/4" Robart Scale tires with foam installed plus all landings have been non bouncers ... Very enjoyable, relaxing to fly, and everyone at the field loves it ; }
