Convenient, midsize, and affordable, the Bancroft Orion V2 is the perfect introduction to RC yachts capable of operating in stronger breezes and larger bodies of water. Still easily stored in a car for a quick after-work sail, the compact 18.3” size belies its features and handling of a much larger yacht. The Orion V2 arrives carefully packed and semi-assembled, with masting and final rigging left to the buyer prior to the Orion being ready to sail. Simply install 4 AA alkaline batteries in the boat, 4 AA alkaline batteries in the transmitter, and the Orion is ready to enjoy a gentle breeze on a summer evening or the excitement of skippering an America’s Cup yacht.
Display this yacht on your mantle or enjoy it on the water with this functional RTR (Ready to Run) model. Delivered Ready to Run (RTR), the Orion V2 can be operating shortly after opening the box, using the included 2.4Ghz stick radio transmitter.
