Q:Do the replacement wings come with the ''ROUND GREY PLASTIC INSERTS'' that are (FITTED IN THE FOUR MOUNTING HOLES FOR THE WING SCREWS.) While removing the wing these ''four round plastic inserts'' (which the screw heads butt up against) all broke into pieces. Also the four plastic fuselage wing mounts just broke up, with the screws stuck in the rotating brass threaded inserts which did the damage. Firstly I cannot re attach the original wings because the screw heads will have nothing to pull up against and will just pass straight through the wing. Secondly I have ordered the plastic parts kit to hopefully replace the four damaged fuselage plastic/brass threaded screw mounts. How I am expected to get all these damaged ones out that are glued in, without damaging the wings or fuselage further I just don't know. I did not overtighten the wing mounting screws so I might ad, I am both very angry and disappointed at the weakness of these parts considering the money I have spent. +

A:The plastic wing joiners are not included with the wing set but are included with the plastic set 1 which is linked below.

Q:Is it easy to install the retracts in the replacement wings? Also, do the wings come with the servos installed? I am not sure if these can be removed from the original wings?? This Spitfire is awesome and flies really well!! I made the rookie mistake of flying mine with the wrong battery installed, hence the need for new wings!!!!

A:Yes. Plastic retract mounts were included.

A:Yes they are. However, check carefully how they are bonded to the foam. Also, make sure to use the correct screw lengths for mounting the retracts.

Now I know I pay my VAT upfront, I will order more spares. Obviously the costs have risen considerably when buying in the UK (so much for our government protecting us!!) but still a good purchase which was posted out to me well packaged.

When both servos are normal the flap servo...read moreThe wings are all good, but I will always complain that the flap servos are both normal instead of normal and reversed. When both servos are normal the flap servo position on each wing is not symmetrical and servo arm is located in different place on each wing and the left and right flap is pushed by push rod in different place, and that causes one flap to have different throw than the other. Check it yourself. Because of that I am taking one star off.
