Would this motor be the right fit for a 2100mm Cessna 182 that weights 12 pounds? If not what would be a better fit. Using a 6s battery, 90a esc

I would like to drop from a four blade prop recommended for this motor as paired with the FlightLineRC Spitfire to a two blade prop for this motor. Would an electric prop 16X10X2 work with a 100amp esc and 6s lipo? Is it recommended to go with a smaller or a larger diameter prop?

Hello Joe, This motor has been paired with a 16 X 10 4-blade prop and an 80A ESC for use in the 1600mm Spitfire. Changing the prop will also change the current draw. For example, if you use a 16 X 10 2-blade prop the load on the motor will be less so the current draw is likely to be less than it would be with a 4-blade prop. If you increase the size of the prop to say an 18 X 8, or 18 X 10 it is likely to increase the current draw. The way to be sure you have the correct ESC to to check the current draw (Amps) with a Watt meter. this will tell you the amount of current the motor is drawing on a given prop. Can I use the stock esc that comes with the 1600 mm FlightLine Corsair with this motor?

The motor is for the Flightline Spitfire, however, Yes, you can use the 80A ESC listed as long as the load you apply to the motor does not draw more than 80A.

Bonjour Je vous ai acheté un Spinner FlightLine 1600mm Spitfire et je veux installer le brusless 5050-390k sur mon spitfire . Comment la vis de fixation du cône peux elle se viser sur l'axe moteur ? Y a t il un trou taraudé au bout de l'axe moteur correspondant à la vis ? Faut il mettre un adaptateur , lequel ? Merci de votre aide

You will need to buy the prop adaptor that goes with this motor and spinner. The prop adaptor does have a tapped hole which the spinner screw goes into. It looks really neat when installed. Hope this helps. Phil

Is this motor equivalent to a .46-.50 glow engine?

Probably closer to a .61-.90. It's pretty powerful. I'm still testing it, but it really likes 5S Lipo 4000mah w/ 14 x8 or 14 x 6 Prop. I can't even imagine it with a 6S.

Perfect Fix

Replaced 340Kv in 1600mm Corsair.Changed from 90% throttle all the time to"Just Right". Cruzing like a fighter at 65%. Better top speed,bolt in replacement.
