Product Updates:
- October 18, 2024 - Per Hobbywing - when connecting the ESC to a battery, the ESC will generate a series of beeps that will indicate it has identified the correct # of battery cells. One long beep is generated for 5 cells and a short beep for one cell. The ESC will use a combination of these tones to accurately reflect the total cell count of the battery. For example: A 6S battery when connected will generate a long beep and a short beep to show 5 + 1 or 6 total cells.
