Please note: All RC model gas-powered engines require the user to properly set up, tune, and maintain the engine in order to achieve consistent peak performance. You will need to break-in the engine initially, then perform routine maintenance including cleaning the engine, lubricating its seals and moving parts, and adjusting the fuel mixture and valves as necessary. This is considered the normal responsibility of owning and operating an RC gas engine. For further questions, please contact Customer Support.

Follow the instructions on motion rc website they are better than the ones coming with the motor. The brake in is about 5 hours but there is no problem of doing it flying after 3 or 4 tanks, but you will have to adjust tune as it completes the brakes in. Mine has about 2 hours now and still getting better and better. This motor has enough power to for any airplane designed for 90 to 120 nitro. I have it on an ultra-sport 1000 and has more power than I need. I would recommend buying the "NGH Universal Engine Mount" offered by motion rc. Great quality and fits perfectly. If the carburetor stays outside the cowl on your airplane, you will need a velocity stack. "Aluminum Velocity Stack 26cc 30cc 32cc Zenoah Engine for RC Boat Truck Car #1299" style #5 on ebay fits great. Muffler is the weakest part of this motor but "Permatex 81878 Ultra Copper " gasket maker on both nuts and "J-B Weld 8297 HighHeat 500 Degree Epoxy Putty Stick" where both part of the muffler junctions will do the job, and you won't have any leaks. You can use also the gasket maker to replace the original gasket if it breaks.

I hesitated purchasing this engine for a long time because I was unable to get technical support/ information. Finally bit the bullet and purchased the engine, but the muffler that comes with the engine will not work in my application. To make matters worse, there is NO aftermarket support for mufflers. So, I have an engine that I cannot use unless I built a muffler that fits my application.
