On the NGH new carb, which way round are the low and high needles please (ie cw or ccw for lean etc)?

The screw in the brass insert is the high-speed needle, and the one on the opposite side is the idle speed.

Can this carb be used on the original GT9 as a replacement? I have one of the original GT9's with the separate pump set up and it is hard to keep running. Oscillations of the bracket mounted pump are causing the fuel to aerate.
